Role profile

As a member of our senior leadership team, you will lead on the delivery of a communications & engagement strategy in Greece. You will collaborate with senior colleagues and motivate a team to develop and deliver our communications and engagement work and grow our impact. We will look to you to build our visibility in Greece with key audiences, ensuring we engage and inspire our supporters, the wider public and other NGOs. You will also act as our brand champion and take responsibility for developing strong working relationships with stakeholders in order to deliver WWF’s objectives.

What we are looking for

You have a proven track record of developing and delivering communications strategies and actions. This will have given you hands-on expertise in using online, digital, and social media tools for engaging, mobilising, and influencing key audiences. You are fluent in Greek and English and have an in depth understanding of news media and politics in Greece. You will also have been involved in working or volunteering for NGOs and have a sound knowledge of environmental and sustainability issues. 

As an effective leader, you have proven experience in building and managing high performing teams. You also possess excellent communication, interpersonal and brand management skills. You are hands-on in your approach and with the quick reflexes this position requires.
